CONTENT CREATION FOR THE BOWLING CLUB AT KANSAS STATE
The Bowling Club at Kansas State started to focus on regrowing its brand in January 2021, and I volunteered my video editing skills and time to help. I started with Episodes 2-8 of Hot Questions, a collaborative effort edited by me where our social media manager asked rapid-fire questions to two bowlers.
I helped with graphics when necessary and have started managing the Instagram again for the 2023-24 season. After becoming secretary for the club in spring 2021, I created the email newsletters and have continued to do so even past my tenure.

Check out our Instagram below to see more of my work as this webpage is just some of the highlights.
Strike-A-Thon 2024
To help give bowlers something to share and to get our fundraiser out there, I created a graphic for the 2024 Strike-A-Thon. The Strike-A-Thon is the club's main fundraiser of the year, and donors can pledge money on a bowler for each strike they get.
Club Nationals 2024
For the second year in a row, K-State was invited to Club Nationals, where the top club teams around the nation face off in a two-day double-elimination Baker tournament.
Viva Las Vegas (Tourney Hype)
Given the success of the jerseys video and to kick start the Vegas tournament, we made a hype video to celebrate.
Jersey Hype
We bought new jerseys emblazoned with the Powercat my senior year. The team had been working to get access to the Powercat even before I joined. It was a big moment for our team, and we had to do a video to celebrate it. Natalie helped me get the second angle from inside the room while I recorded from behind Braden. I produced the video, and I used music from our former bowling president T!ll, a good full-circle moment for the team.
Pre-Tournament Posts 2023-24
To be in line with other athletic teams at K-State, I decided to start making pre-tournament graphics to hype up our tournaments and give people info on what we were doing. The first pre-tourney post was the Mid State Championship in Wichita, and I used myself for the men's varsity and Liv for the women's varsity.
Bowlers of the Week 2023-24
I created the graphics on the first, fourth and fifth slide alongside taking those photos for the Bowlers of the Week series. Each week we honored two noteworthy bowlers on the team, and this week was Swade and Kinley for their performances at SWIBC II & I, respectively. (NOTE: We only did signatures for this post; I decided to stop them for safety reasons..)
Newsletter Issue 6
During my time as secretary, I periodically created newsletters, or upon president/vice president request, to be sent out to prospective bowlers via email. I've made a couple newsletters past my secretary tenure as well. Here is one I created between our last Semester 1 tournament and Las Vegas.
Schedule/Tryouts 2022 & '23
During my time as secretary, I created graphics for our 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons, this being the 2022-23 version which included tryout info also created by me. Our most notable tournaments of the year bring us to Las Vegas. *NOTE: Our schedules sometimes change, and these graphics may or may not reflect our schedule that year.

Strike-A-Thon 2021
To help give bowlers something to share and to get our fundraiser out there, I created a short hype video for the 2021 Strike-A-Thon. The club's Strike-A-Thon is our main fundraiser of the year, and donors can pledge money on a bowler for each strike they get.
Most Likely To
Among the video content in spring 2021, I edited the second episode of "Most Likely To" where we asked bowlers who was most likely to fit the bill.
Hot Questions
Among the video content in spring 2021, I was in charge of editing the Hot Questions series, I got to star in my own episode of it with fellow freshman Connor Martin, another varsity bowler for the Wildcats. This was one of the harder ones to edit since we recorded so much for it. Enjoy!
